Chichester District Council is proud to announce the launch of its fully funded Sustainability Accelerator for 2025, designed to empower businesses across the Chichester district to understand, measure, manage, improve, and report their sustainability practices.
Why join the accelerator?
Chichester District Council's Sustainability Accelerator programme in partnership with FuturePlus is returning for a second year, after a successful inaugural initiative in 2024.
This year’s programme, open for a maximum of 30 businesses, will focus on the themes of Adaptation and Resilience, with the aim of building a Community of Common Purpose across the district.
Bringing businesses together, both physically and virtually, the programme will create a strong, regional network, working towards shared goals for building business resilience, including carbon footprinting, reduction targets and legislation, waste, biodiversity, circularity, risk management and resilience.
Whether you’re looking to leverage social and environmental action to help your business innovate; reduce risk and build lasting value; learn how your business can keep pace with a shifting political and regulatory landscape; or adapt to the impacts of climate change, the Accelerator is the programme to get you there!
Businesses selected to participate in the Accelerator will be invited to an in-person launch event on Tuesday 8th July.
SET YOUR SUSTAINABILITY GOALS
As part of the programme, every business will gain FuturePlus IMPACT CERTIFIED accreditation, joining a community of global businesses communicating their commitment to measurable, time-bound sustainability improvements.
The fully funded one-year programme is open to up to 30 companies throughout the Chichester district in all sectors.
Participants will have 12 months inclusive access to the FuturePlus sustainability management platform as well as personalised, fractional sustainability support from expert FuturePlus Advisors, and access to a range of in-person and online workshops and educational sessions.
