Shortlisted in Hustle Awards for second consecutive year

We've been shortlisted in the 'Most Successful Scaleup' category for this year's Hustle Awards presented by Startups Magazine!

We had the honour of winning the Sustainability category at last year's awards and we're incredibly proud to be shortlisted for a second year running.

This week, there’s been some very exciting news for a number of the FuturePlus community:

SURI and Grub Club finalists in The Grocer Gold Awards

Congratulations to FuturePlus members SURI and Grub Club who have both been announced as finalists in The Grocer Gold Awards.

Insect-based dog food brand Grub Club has been named in the Household Goods Brand of the Year category while sustainable toothbrush brand SURI has been named in both the Startup of the Year and Health & Beauty Brand of the Year categories.

Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall on Tuesday, 2nd July 2024.

FuturePlus Partnership with CorpCare

This week, we announced our partnership with Caribbean-based ESG consultancy firm CorpCare. By combining CorpCare's local expertise with FuturePlus’ advanced technology, this collaboration aims to enhance ESG management in the Caribbean. Together, we will improve data capture and provide a robust framework that aligns with international standards, helping Caribbean businesses meet evolving ESG regulations.

CorpCare will use the FuturePlus platform to help clients streamline reporting and deliver ESG insights. This partnership underscores the importance of embedding sustainability in emerging markets, ensuring they meet global standards and support sustainable growth.

Strand Palace has received the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award for 2024!

Every year, Tripadvisor awards travellers’ favorite destinations, hotels, restaurants, and activities worldwide.

These awards are based on reviews and ratings collected over 12 months on the Tripadvisor platform.

FuturePlus member Strand Palace is on a mission to set the standard for excellence in environmental and social responsibility, plus sustainable operations within tourism.

REPORT: Sustainability reporting has inadvertently become a burden for organisations

According to a new report, seven in ten sustainable business leaders believe the resource spent on reporting administration is affecting progress towards sustainability goals.

The report by Mitie of 500 sustainability decision makers also revealed over half of respondents report that reporting efforts require too much admin.

46% of sustainable business leaders feel that their business spends too much time and budget on reporting.
