Atlas: Putting Social Value Into Action

FuturePlus member, Atlas FM, has been setting out its social value initiatives at 99 Bishopsgate.

Partnering with Brookfield Properties and Launch Group, Atlas supported a two-week programme to help long-term unemployed individuals back into work, combining classroom learning with hands-on experience across Brookfield’s London portfolio.

The results include:

• 7 out of 12 participants received job offers
• A full-time security officer position at 99 Bishopsgate

The initiative focused on individuals facing real barriers to employment, including older workers, those without formal education or UK work experience, and those struggling to gain a foothold in the job market.

Atlas is now planning further intakes, with the following programme coming later this year. A great example of what can be achieved when businesses take social value seriously and act on it.

Cornerstone wins at HealthInvestor Awards for the second consecutive year

A big congratulations to FuturePlus member Cornerstone for winning Small Specialist Provider of the Year at the HealthInvestor Awards 2025, for the second year running!

The Sustainability Accelerator Programme

The Sustainability Accelerator, in partnership with Chichester District Council, is returning for 2025.

The fully funded programme is designed to empower businesses based across the Chichester district to understand, measure, manage, improve, and report on their sustainability practices.

This year’s programme, open for a maximum of 30 businesses, will focus on the themes of Adaptation and Resilience, to build a Community of Common Purpose across the district.

Bringing businesses together, both physically and virtually, the programme will create a strong regional network, working towards shared goals for building business resilience. These goals include carbon footprinting, reduction targets and legislation, waste management, biodiversity, circularity, risk management, and resilience.
